Undergraduate Admission Requirements
To enroll in the undergraduate programs at the University of Phoenix, candidates must be at least 17 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be employed. If the student is not currently employed, he or she should have access to an organizational environment appropriate for the application of theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to relevant workplace issues. Non-native speakers of English must have a minimum score of 580 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Undergraduate students may want to take advantage of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) to earn up to 30 transferable semester credits
What’s degrees offered?
Masters Degrees
Education, Business Administration, Accounting, E-Business, Global Management, Technology Management, NursingTo be considered for admission to one of our graduate programs, the same requirements apply as for our undergraduate programs. Additionally, you will need an undergraduate degree from an accredited (or candidate for accreditation) college or university or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside of the United States. Also required is a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better and at least three years significant work experience.
Doctoral Degrees
Business Administration, Management, Education, Health Administration To be considered for admission to a doctoral program, you must be employed at the time of enrollment, and have at least three years of full-time professional work experience, including supervisory or managerial experience. You will need a master's degree from a regionally accredited college, university, or one that is a candidate for accreditation, and you must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
How does it works? All you need is a computer and an Internet service provider. You'll retrieve lectures, questions and assignments from your instructor then review them offline at the times and places most convenient to you. You'll also have access to online research libraries and services, as well as other successful professionals with whom you can share ideas, debate issues and learn from each others' experience.
